Review criteria

During the review process the referees are asked to take into account all of the following aspects:

  1. Does the manuscript fit the scope of Archives Animal Breeding?
  2. Does the manuscript provide new and relevant data?
  3. Is the title adequate?
  4. Is the summary adequate?
  5. Is the objective of the study clearly described?
  6. Are the results adequately detailed?
  7. Are the results adequately discussed?
  8. Are the conclusions correct and based on the results that are provided?
  9. Are all figures and all tables adequate and necessary?
  10. Is the list of references adequate?
  11. Is the length of the manuscript adequate?
